 Reuters - The Walt Disney Co plans to close director Robert Zemeckis' ImageMovers Digital facility in Northern California, laying off 450 workers there, or more than 5 percent of its movie studio division.

AP - The father of "American Idol" judge Kara DioGuardi (KEHR'-uh dee-oh-GWAHR'-dee), former Republican congressman Joe DioGuardi, is set to announce he is running for the U.S. Senate seat held by Kirsten Gillibrand.

AP - In a story March 10 about comedian Conan O'Brien's decision to follow only Michigan resident Sarah Killen on Twitter, The Associated Press reported erroneously the name of an event for which Killen is raising money. It is the Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure, a 60 mile walk, not the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, which is a 5K race.
